I love working on Sundays. I get the more unique events that aren't so formulated by big businesses and sports teams. I get the senior citizen games and the anime conventions. Today it was a Civil War battle re-enactment. The Hillsborough River Raid as it came to be known occured in 1863. In October of that year, the U.S. Navy raided a group of Confederate blockade runners on the Hillsborough River. It was also called the Battle at Ballast Point and was the only land battle of the Civil War in Tampa. The people who participated in this were great and very committed to their role. Needless to say, I love Sundays. Cheers.
