Heartbreaker- Rays Lose in Game 5

Last night at Tropicana Field, my assignment was to hang with the heart of the Tampa Bay Rays fans in the stands while the Rays took on the Texas Rangers in game 5 of their playoff series. The Rays fell short to the Rangers 5-1. It's a tough situation to be in when the city's team loses and your job is to capture the feeling of loss and heartbreak. Most everyone was OK with me except for the man in the last photo. I thought the look and feeling he was giving off summed up the loss nicely. It wasn't a drawn out loss. One minute they had a chance and then just like that, they lose and everyone leaves. He took his time leaving. He was pretty beat up about the loss. I hung around for awhile taking his photo and as he got up to leave I politely started talking to him. He did not want to talk to me. He wanted to leave. I explained why I needed his name as eloquently as I could but after several explanations he still didn't want to talk to me or give me his name. Losing hurts.
