Building Community

For the past month, reporter Victoria Macchi and I have been keeping tabs on the LGBTQ community since the DOMA ruling and a lot of activity and organizing has been going on throughout our community. One thing that's happening is a new community center being built for the LGBTQ community near Fort Myers. They're still in the building process but our story ran awhile back and I figured I'd share some of the photos. Most of my time was spent with one of the co-founders, Heather Lunsford, while she and several volunteers worked at their site on a recent Saturday.
