An Easter Renewal

Yesterday was Easter. The celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's a time of renewal and restoration of faith in the Christian faith. I've photographed Easter events several times in my five or so years as a photographer. Yesterday was one of the most interesting Easter experiences I've ever photographed. I was able to be in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico for one of the more meaningful experiences of some of their lives after an Easter sunrise service on Vanderbilt Beach. According to St. Thomas Aquinas, "Baptism is the external ablution of the body." When I asked several of the people how they felt after their baptism, this sentence was common, "I feel renewed."
