Mitt Romney's Pit Stop In Lehigh

This past Tuesday, candidates campaigning for the Republican presidential nomination made their rounds around Southwest Florida. Mitt Romney made one of his stops in Lehigh Acres where the housing crisis struck hardest and spoke in front of a foreclosed home.

The crowd was large but not difficult. After photographing Romney, I can see why photographers like covering these events. It seems like it goes by quickly and you've got a national figure in front of you doing his thing. Romney knows what he's doing when it comes to media (except for setting the stage with the sun behind him). He knows where to turn the baby that's given to him to hold and if the baby cries, he immediately gives the baby back. Mitt knows that a photo of him holding a crying baby would end of plenty of bad things.

It was great time photographing alongside some other great photographers including Todd Heisler and David Hume Kennerly and hope I get to do it again soon. Thanks for looking!
