Yesterday one quite possibly one of the longest work days that I have experienced in awhile. I traveled up to Sparta, KY to photograph NASCAR's first big race in Kentucky. I'm not sure if it was just poor planning but traffic was awful. We didn't get back to our homes until 4:00 AM. Honestly, I'm pretty out of it while I'm typing this so there won't be much of any philosophical thoughts on NASCAR or the culture that surrounds it. The only thing I have to offer are some of my favorite photos from the longest and loudest day that I've had in a long while.

Nice work, Scott. Looks like you found lots of good quiet moments in what I'm sure was an incredibly loud event.
