Louisville's Changing Face

A few days ago I was assigned to photograph the Karen community of Louisville for a story on the census in Kentucky. The story mainly revolved around the changing face of Louisville so the editors sent me to the Crescent Hill Baptist Church in Louisville to photograph a youth group with a large portion of the members were Karen. I also spent some time in a Karen home where their hospitality was amazing. The family I photographed moved to Louisville from Myanmar in 2007. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
